The Hershee Bar, a mainstay on the Hampton Roads LGBTQ bar scene and one of the area’s original and surviving community ‘safe spaces,’ is celebrating its 35th anniversary this Spring with a series of events that kick off this weekend.
March 31 – The Deloreans

April 21 – Suzanne Westenhofer
Suzanne was the was the first openly lesbian comedian with an HBO Special and the first openly lesbian comedian on “Late Night with David Letterman. Suzanne never does the same show twice. She can’t.
