Join us in Hampton for the first of two “Ask a Trans Person” Panel Discussions in the city. The event will feature a hands-on introduction to the experiences of transgender people with plenty of time for Q&A discussion with local transgender community members.

In Virginia, state non-discrimination laws still do not explicitly protect transgender Virginians from unfair treatment in employment, housing, or public spaces.

Many people are still learning what it means to be transgender, and only one in ten people know they’ve met someone who is transgender. Hearing stories from local trans people is the first step towards building common ground and supporting non-discrimination protections for transgender Virginians.

All are welcome! This gathering will be a safe space to ask questions and engage in respectful dialogue with your fellow community members. We will be in Room B. Join us today by reserving your spot: https://bit.ly/TransPanelHampton1
