Statistics show that the LGBT community may experience higher rates of risk factors that lead to cognitive decline and dementia as well as lower rates of access to care (up to 30%). Join us for the Hampton Roads LGBT Alzheimer’s Community Forum. We’ll review the basics of these conditions, services of the Alzheimer’s Association, and have a facilitated discussion on how we can expand the reach of local programs and services to best serve the Hampton Roads LGBT community. This program is hosted virtually in partnership with Silver Rainbow and Hampton Roads Business Outreach (HRBOR).
