Virginia’s LGBTQ job seekers will have an opportunity to connect with LGBTQ-inclusive businesses and organizations at OutWork757, Virginia’s only LGBTQ Career Expo on March 30 in Norfolk at Old Dominion University’s Chartway Center.
“For the third year, we’re proud to offer this one-of-a-kind hiring event,” Said Eric Hause, expo producer. “Hampton Roads is now on par with other cities with large LGBTQ populations that have been offering similar expos for years.”
The Expo is open to all members of the LGBTQ and allied community who are seeking an inclusive work environment. Representatives from 40 corporations, small businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations will be on hand to interview prospective employees.
“This is our community’s opportunity meet with the wealth of Virginia businesses and organizations that are actively seeking LGBTQ employees,” Hause said.
The Expo is a joint production of Hampton Roads Business Outreach (HRBOR), Old Dominion University’s Office of LGBTQIA+ Initiatives, and OutWire757, Hampton Roads’ LGBTQ media company.
