Outwire757 today announced the launch of a companion LGBT lifestyle magazine in January 2017. Outguide757 Magazine will publish twice annually with a January weddings-focused issue and a June Pride edition.
Combining original content, display advertising and an LGBT-friendly business directory, the publication is a full-color, full-sized magazine celebrating the diversity of Hampton Roads’ thriving LGBT community.
“From Our Own Community Press to The Lambda Gazette, Hampton Roads’ LGBT community has a long history of relying on print not only as a source of information, but of pride and empowerment,” said Eric Hause, publisher. “We’re excited to continue that tradition with Outguide757.”
Outguide 757 Magazine is an extension of Outwire757.com, the only LGBT media outlet serving Coastal Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina. Launched in June 2016, the site has cultivated an audience of over 3,000 visitors each month.
Outwire757.com also sponsored the first Best of GAYHRVA Reader’s Poll this year, which received over 5,000 total votes. The company also produces regular social events and meetups as well as the Weddings with Pride Gay Wedding Showcase.
