Area LGBTQ Organizations and Businesses Respond to COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has quickly changed how we work, live and socialize, especially after yesterday’s order from Governor Northam’s limiting public gatherings to 10 persons or less. Typically, OutWire757’s calendar of events contains dozens of events ranging from several drag brunches each week, to sporting events and support groups.

Temporarily, our ability to interact, socialize and support one another is posing a challenge to our community. What are you doing to combat ‘cabin fever’ or react to social distancing? Let us know!

Below, we have summarized the alternative plans and actions non-profits and businesses are implementing during the containment period.

Did we miss your organization or an update? Do you have a special announcement to make? We are all in this together and we would be happy to share with the community. Let us know by sending an email to editor@outwire757.com

PLEASE NOTE: As news develops, the plans detailed are subject to change. Call ahead to confirm.
