Celebrate Community at the Hershee Bar’s 35th Anniversary this Weekend

The Hershee Bar, a mainstay on the Hampton Roads LGBTQ bar scene and one of the area’s original and surviving community ‘safe spaces,’ is celebrating its 35th anniversary this Spring with a series of events that kick off this weekend.

March 31 – The Deloreans

The anniversary party gets started on Saturday, March 31 at 8 p.m., featuring Hampton Roads’ favorite 80’s cover band – The Deloreans.  For advance sale tickets, click HERE.

April 21 – Suzanne Westenhofer

Suzanne was the was the first openly lesbian comedian with an HBO Special and the first openly lesbian comedian on “Late Night with David Letterman.  Suzanne never does the same show twice. She can’t. She doesn’t write anything down. She charges boldly onto the stage and what happens is always a mystery and a delight.  For advance sale tickets, click HERE.
