More than 100 supporters and Virginia Values Coalition partners will gather at the Richmond Capitol for a Day of Action on Tuesday and meet with lawmakers to push for passage of the Virginia Values Act, a pair of comprehensive LGBTQ nondiscrimination bills moving through the House and Senate.
Senate Bill 868 passed 12-0 in the General Laws Committee on Jan. 30 and a final vote is expected on Feb. 4. House Bill 1663 passed 16-6 in the House General Laws Committee on Jan. 28 and a final House vote is expected next week.
