Earlier today, the full 4th Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond ruled in favor of transgender Gloucester teenager Gavin Grimm and denied a review of the ruling made by the three-judge panel in April. Grimm has been challenging the Gloucester School District’s bathroom policy in federal court and bringing the issue to the forefront as the Fourth Circuit includes the state of North Carolina, whose governor is leading the charge against protecting transgender citizens.
