Funeral services for Anne Marie Pruitt will be held on Thursday, July 13 at 11AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church on Harpersville Road in Newport News. Burial will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park.
Services will be preceded by visitation on Wednesday, July 12 from 5 to 7PM at Peninsula Funeral Home on Warwick Boulevard in Newport News.
Anne Marie was a long-time ally of the LGBTQ community. She worked at The Wave nightclub in Norfolk, which her family owns.

Ms. Pruitt, 33, was killed Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a road in Isle of Wight.
