Members of Hampton Roads Pride will select new members to sit on its Board of Directors at their monthly membership meeting on September 10 held at WHRO studios in Norfolk.
As reported in June, Hampton Roads Pride members voted to change their organizational by-laws. Included among the approved changes are the following:

Membership categories were reduced from four to three. Membership categories are now one of three: Individual, Household, and Corporate. The Organizational category was eliminated.

Election of Board of Directors was changed from November of each year to September.
Persons interested in running for election to the Board of Directors were asked to submit applications to the Nominating Committee by July 30. Those selected to stand for Monday’s election are the following:
- Ginger Jenkot
- Rudy Almanzor
- David Seely
- Cole Werkheiser
- Susan Ayala
- Kelly O’Clair
