Yesterday, the Equality Virginia (EV) Board of Directors announced the 2019 class of honorees of OUTstanding Virginians who will be honored on April 13 at the 16th Annual Commonwealth Dinner. Among the honorees is Virginia Beach resident and transgender activist Jay Corprew. Jay Corprew, currently serves as a Board Member of the Transgender Assistance Program of Virginia in addition to serving as a volunteer of the communityAs Jay shared with EV, “I know what it is like to be trans and homeless, denied help because I am trans. I was homeless three times over the course of seven years.
