Start training, strutting and stretching in your best pumps and outfit as OutWire757 is proud to once again work with the Downtown Norfolk Council and Stonewall Sports Norfolk to kick off Pride month with the Second Annual Stiletto Stomp high heel race on Friday, June 7!
Last year’s event attracted a big crowd and we hope to demonstrate to Norfolk that our community loves to have fun and give back! You and your friends are invited to get dressed up in drag or another costume, strap on a pair of pumps and get ready to show your PRIDE in the NEON District at June’s First Friday celebration.
The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. with a costume contest and then a short race/walk/strut/stomp in the NEON District for for door prizes and bragging rights!
Prizes will be awarded for the following:
- Best costume
- Best group costume
- First Place Race Finisher
- Last Place Race Finisher
Once again, the indomitable Ms. Jennifer Warner will be the hostess for this event and will be joined by Randy Roberts of Key West who will judge the entrants. Registration for this event is $10. Registration fees will be donated to charity, to be split between the charities supported by Stonewall Sports and the American Cancer Society in Jennifer Warner’s name*.

Following the race, be sure to toddle over and join OutWire757 for the opening night of Randy Roberts LIVE! at the Hurrah Player’s Hugh R. Copeland Center located in the NEON District. For an additional $20 per person, you may attend the VIP After Party** in the Decorum Furniture lounge and meet Randy Roberts.
