Last Saturday, Mother Nature attempted to dampen the spirits of coastal Virginia’s LGBTQ community. Fortunately, the lightning and rain moved on and the celebration resumed in Norfolk’s Town Point Park, featuring the nation’s only Pride boat parade, local vendors and classic disco music from Martha Wash and The Village People.
