Founded in 2006, the Movement Advancement Project (MAP) is an independent, nonprofit think tank that provides rigorous research, insight and communications that help speed equality and opportunity for all. The organization regularly provides it’s research to policy-makers, organizations, advocates and funders, the mdia and the public.
MAP just recently updated its maps with new research, and Outwire757 is providing this infograhic with data on Virginia’s LGBTQ-related laws and policies as of today. It will be interesting to see how this data changes under the new Governor’s administration. We’ll keep you updated.
