The 11th Annual OBX Pridefest will take place this weekend Friday, September 16 through Sunday, September 18 in and around Manteo, NC.
The three-day festival is comprised of numerous events built around the the main event on Saturday: a free family-friendly, Pride festival. The festival will feature local bands, drag performances, entertainers, local restaurants, adult beverages, and vendors. It will be held this year at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Downtown Manteo, NC.
The weekend kicks off on Friday afternoon with a tea dance at the Outer Banks Fishing Pier in South Nags Head starting at 4:00 PM. There is a $10 cover at the door for those who did not purchase an All Access Pride Pass (now sold out).
That evening, Jennifer Warner’s Drag Show rolls into town at the Outer Banks Brewing Station in Kill Devil Hills at 10:00 PM. The show will feature Hershae Chocolate, Jamie Monroe, Harpy Daniels, and Cliff Baxter with Jennifer Warner emceeing and DJKO spinning. Tickets are $20 and available online or at the door.
Saturday’s festivities kick off at noon with the 11th Annual OBX Pride festival at Roanoke Island Festival Park in downtown Manteo. The festival is free and open to the public.
The weekend closes with a Sunday Drag Brunch and Basnight’s Lone Cedar Cafe on the Causeway in Nags Head.
Join DJKO and the queens as they wrap up the weekend with one last party. Tickets are available online or at the door and include the show, the brunch, and coffee or tea with a full cash bar available. Brunch starts at 11:00 AM with the Drag Show starting whenever they feel like it.
