According to a report filed by WVEC, Old Dominion University (ODU) will be spending a total of $911,000 to study alcohol usage patterns among lesbian and bisexual women. The study is being conducted by ODU Psychology professor Robin Lewis and will use funds awarded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The study which is based on previous research begun in 2014, will look at how relationship factors and partners’ alcohol use contribute to hazardous drinking among lesbian and bisexual couples.
