About 40 brave runners turned out on Saturday, December 16, for Out n Fit’s Santa Speedo Run in Norfolk. Sponsored by MJ’s Tavern, Tag Ink, and Outwire757, the event took runners on a two-mile trek from MJs north on Granby Street, and back–much to the amusement of passing motorists.
Out-n-Fit is an organization of Hampton Roads LGBT community members focused on health and fitness. Says organizer Jason Armogida, “Whether it’s our upcoming 5k, the Tough Mudder at the end of the summer, the next Crossfit competition, or just a casual Sunday run or group workout, our goal is to bring together people of all fitness levels who enjoy making new friends and have fun staying fit.”
