Earlier this week, OutWire757 received a thoughtful postcard from an anonymous reader in the Williamsburg area noting they “Just wish there were more events and calendar listings for this area. We don’t all live in Norfolk or Hampton Roads.”
I couldn’t agree more and appreciate the constructive feedback. I would like to ask the sender of the postcard to drop us an email (or another postcard) as we want to thank you for taking the time to send to send feedback and talk about how we can improve coverage in the Williamsburg area!
We strive to cover as much of the 757 as possible and realize our coverage is lacking in a few areas – geographically and in other areas, i.e. queer persons of color.
We are a small operation and try to be out and about as much as possible, but we rely on community members to share and alert us to the events, news and people making a difference.
