The Hampton’s Citizens’ Unity Commission and the LGBTQ Awareness Committee will host a special mix and mingle event called “Rock Your Pride: Find Your Voice” on Saturday, Dec, 21, the first in a series of events to be held in Hampton.
“Rock Your Pride: Find Your Voice” will be held from 1-3 p.m. at the Element Hotel in the Peninsula Town Center and is designed to foster conversations about violence as it pertains to domestic partnership. The free event will start with a live performance by drag performer Queen Mary to be followed by a conversation circle. Free refreshments & soft drinks will be provided and community organizations have been invited to display information.
