Tarheel State Activists Ask Lawmakers to Leave Charlotte Non-Disrimination Ordinance Alone

Politics in North Carolina are literally in the toilet as the Legislature considers convening a special session to interfere with the non-discrimination ordinance passed in Charlotte.  The ordinance states that gay and transgender people may not be discriminated against by businesses or at facilities – including restrooms.

LGBT activists in North Carolina have asked the Legislature to not get involved.
