Virginia Zoo hosts first-ever Pride Night at the Zoo on June 9.

The Virginia Zoo is hosting its first-ever Pride Night on June 9, 2022 from 5 to 8 pm. The after-hours event is open to the public and will celebrate the brilliantly diverse community. Animal ambassadors will be greeting guests, all trails will be open and the animals will receive colorful and themed enrichment to proudly support the LGBTQ+ community and allies.

See the new pride of lions, Ansel, Asha and Kali as they take turns exploring their habitat. Try to spot the baby sloth, Reilly in the Conservatory. Say hello to the herd of 20 goats just in.

Enjoy food trucks, beer and wine, music from a DJ and appearances from event sponsors, Hampton Roads Pride and HRBOR.
