In an effort to help our readers (and us!) keep a tab on the ever-accumulating offenses against the LGBTQ community under the impending reign our new President, we’re launching a new weekly series.
The Word According to Trump will be a digest (if that’s what you want to call it) of the top headlines of the week, highlighting the new adminstration and country’s growing animosity towards the LGBTQ community.
We don’t offer this to frighten, but to inform. After all, the more you know….and we encourage ALL members of our community and allies to get involved on some level. Later this week, look for an article on local, regional, and national LGBTQ resources, opportunities to effect change, and actions you can take to protect yourself and your community
Also, if you’d like to contribute a bona fide story we’ve missed, email us a link to the online version. We’ll add it with a shout out to you.
And away. We. Go.
