“Bikers for Trump” Rally Featured GOP Candidates and Attacks on LGBT Persons & Culture

Yesterday, “Bikers for Trump” held a rally in Virginia Beach in support of the GOP ticket on the Nov. 7 election, featuring Jill Vogel, candidate for Lt. Governor and failed gubernatorial candidate Corey Stewart who is now running for the Senate.  The rhetoric was designed to energize the political base with topics ranging from gun rights to Confederate statute removal.

Of particular interest to the LGBTQ community, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Stewart said there are four types of Democrats: “criminals, communists, crackheads and weirdos.”  Stewart then went on to attack Danica Roem, the transgender Democratic candidate running for the House against Del. Robert G. Marshall, (R-Prince William) by misgendering Roem, referring to her as “he” and a “weirdo” while making a joke at her expense, garnering laughs from the crowd gathered at Rock Church in Virginia Beach.

You may watch the entire rally below. Stewart’s speech begins at the comments at the 1:01 mark and his comments about Roem and cultural values start at the 1:18 mark.  Video was posted on Bikers for Trump 2020 Facebook page.

“His name is, well it was, it was Dan Roem. Now, it’s Danica Roem. Not that there’s anything wrong with that,” Stewart said.

“But this guy, er, Roem, wants to teach transgenderism to kindergartners. To kindergartners. Folks, this is what’s coming. This is the war on our culture. It is the war on our values.”
