There was truly ‘something in the water’ last weekend as persons throughout Hampton Roads, generously opened their wallets, ate, drank and had fun at the 16th Annual Dining Out For Life event and at Stonewall Sports Norfolk‘s Mac-n-Cheese cookoff and drag bingo event.

Thousands of diners ate ‘like a hero’ at 50 restaurants located throughout Hampton Roads at the sixteenth annual Dining Out For Life event produced by the LGBT Life Center. Participating restaurants pledged to donate at least 25% of each diners checks to the LGBT Life Center. Diners also had an opportunity to make additional donations to the LGBT Life Center to be entered into a raffle for prizes, including two round trip tickets on Southwest Airlines. This annual event raises tens of thousands of dollars to further the Life Center’s programs that support persons affected by HIV/AIDS in Hampton Roads. Stonewall Sports Mac-n-Cheese Cookoff and Drag Bingo

Mother Nature shined down on the parking lot at MJ’s Tavern on Saturday, April as members of Stonewall Sports Norfolk gathered to do what they do best – have fun and raise money for charity. Stonewall Sports organized a macaroni and cheese cookoff, followed by a session of drag bingo hosted by Jasleane Jade.
