Patrick Evans-Hylton, Virginia’s Secretary of Taste, publisher of Virginia Eats + Drinks magazine and OutLife757 contributor, continues to expand his media presence and evangelize on behalf of Virginia’s dynamic and delicious food scene.
Starting Monday, February 26 and every second and fourth Monday following, Evans-Hylton will host a Eats + Drinks segment on Coast Live show produced by WTKR TV-3. Coast Live is broadcast weekdays at 10 a.m. EST.
The Eats + Drinks segment, will celebrate Virginia cuisine and keep you up to date with what is happening in the local and regional food scene.
In addition to his magazine and the new Eats + Drinks segments on Coast Live, Evans-Hylton also hosts The Virginia Eats + Drinks radio show on WNIS every Friday evening. The Virginia Eats + Drinks Show airs Fridays live from 6-7 p.m. on AM 790 WNIS. Evans-Hylton is a cookbook author (Popcorn, Dishing Up Virginia, Nuts), food historian, culinary advisor for the Commonwealth of Virginia and a media awards judge for the prestigious James Beard Awards. He runs a cooking and wine school at TASTE, a gourmet grocer in Coastal Virginia, and teaches a number of food media-related classes at The Muse Writer’s Center in Norfolk, and elsewhere nationwide.
