U.S. Olympians Adam Rippon and Gus Kenworthy are the first two openly gay athletes competing in the Winter Olympics. Neither wasted anytime showing their pride and casting shade on homophobes and Vice President Mike Pence.
One of Kensworthy’s Instagram posts featured the caption, “The 2018 Winter Olympic Gaymes are officially under way!” I’m so proud to be representing the LGBTQ community alongside this amazing guy! Eat your heart out, Pence.”
Kensworthy followed up with the following Tweet featuring photos of himself and Rippon.
