Do you like people? Do you like food? Are you the hostess with the mostest? It’s not too late to let those talents shine and give back to the community by becoming a volunteer ambassador at the 16th Annual Dining Out For Life fundraising event on April 25, 2019.
The LGBT Life Center still has openings for volunteer ambassadors at a variety of restaurants located throughout Hampton Roads. Ambassadors serve as hosts at your designated restaurant, invite all of your friends and family to dine out at your restaurant, enjoy an evening of community all while raising money to help those living with HIV in Hampton Roads.
All ambassadors (returning and new) are required to attend a 1-hour training session at LGBT Life Center where you will receive your promotional materials to recruit diners to your restaurants, take a photo for your custom event cover photo for social media, and learn about the logistics of your volunteer assignment! Co-Ambassadors are required to attend.
Two ambassador training sessions are available this week and next at the LGBT Life Center’s administrative offices located at 5360 Robin Hood Road in Norfolk. Click HERE for directions.
