Hampton Roads Pride invites runners, walkers, skippers, and the entire
LGBTQ and allied community of Hampton Roads and beyond to participate in its 3rd Annual Run the Rainbow Virtual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run from October 3, 2020, through November 3, 2020.
This year, participants will complete the race virtual and at a location of their choosing.
Hampton Roads Pride is once again partnering with Mettle Events to offer the
first-ever gender-neutral registration and debut their new registration portal made possible by the innovators at Race Roster.
Participants can join the event as an individual or member of a team for the first time in 2020. Virtual run results will be posted on the registration site all participants are encouraged to share their race results via social media; selfies, group photos, or videos
using the hashtag #runtherainbow.
Registration is now open through HamptonRoadsPride.org/events. Costs are $30 for Virtual 5k and $15.00 for Virtual 1 Mile Fun Run. Participants will be mailed a race packet including a t-shirt, and commemorative medal. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Assisted athletes are welcome and encouraged to participate.
All proceeds from the 3rd Annual Run the Rainbow Virtual 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will benefit Hampton Roads Pride’s mission of diversity, inclusion, and acceptance of all people.
