Together, the magazine and Outwire757.com fill a long-vacant need for current news and lifestyle information for and by the Coastal Virginia LGBTQ community.
As we put put the magazine together, we envisioned our target reader: an isolated person struggling with his or her identity, with coming out, or with simply hoping to find the community.
We saw that person picking up a (free) copy with the realization that their community is right here, in Coastal Virginia, waiting with open arms to share the good news. That vision seems even more necessary now as we move into the challenging days ahead.
Our second edition will publish in June, just in time for Pride month. You can download the rates and deadlines here.
