Hampton Roads residents have been showing their Pride for a few weeks, starting with the First Annual Stiletto Stomp, Reel It Out Film Festival and Pulse Remembrance. Events are ramping up as we approach the 30th Annual PrideFest in Norfolk’s Town Point Park. Organizations and individuals throughout coastal Virginia are celebrating Pride in many ways. Between June 21 – July 1, there are more than 45 LGBTQ/Pride events planned throughout Hampton Roads. So, pace yourself and stay hydrated – the next two weeks are going to be very busy.

Each year on June 27 we observe National HIV Testing Day. On this day, we unite with partners, health departments, and other organizations to raise awareness about the importance of HIV testing and early diagnosis of HIV. Help encourage HIV testing on National HIV Testing Day and every day to ensure people get tested for HIV, know their status, and get linked to care and treatment services.
