Past Hampton Roads Pride President Michael Berlucchi to be honored as an OUTstanding Virginia at Equality Virginia’s 15th Annual Commonwealth Dinner on April 14 in Richmond.
Berlucchi served two terms as President of Hampton Roads Pride after serving for several years on the board and on planning committees. Past OUTstanding Virginians from Hampton Roads include Michael Hamar and Robert Roman.
Each year, Equality Virginia recognizes leaders in Virginia’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and ally community. Featuring individuals and organizations that have ave gone above and beyond for the LGBT community and that have made significant contributions in the Commonwealth. The other honorees from throughout Virginia include the following:
- Amy Adams, Stafford County
- Emma Chattin, Fairfax County
- Lisa Cumbey, Richmond
- Zakia McKensey, Richmond
- Jim O’Connor, Prince William County
- Richmond Triangle Players, Richmond
