Downtown Manteo, NC was host to the Seventh Annual Outer Banks (OBX) Pridefest this past weekend. The three-day event began on Friday, September 22 with a lively sunset cruise on the Pamlico Sound, a day long Pridefest held on the downtown Manteo waterfront, two drag shows and a comedy cabaret hosted by North Carolina native Lady Bunny!
Hampton Roads was well represented at the event as many from the area took advantage of the great weather to enjoy a weekend at the beach. MJ’s Tavern served as sponsor of the sunset cruise and the LGBT Life Center was on hand to educate attendees.
