This weekend is shaping up to be another busy one in Hampton Roads! OutWire757 is proud to be joining Jan Cline Fitness for “Makin’ It”, our first retro roller skating party Saturday night from 8-10 p.m. at Haygood Roller Rink in Virginia Beach. Unfortunately, Gene Kelly cannot attend as he is dead (so is Andy Gibb), they will be missed, but we hope you and your friends will come out to ‘do the hokie pokie and turn yourself around’ Saturday night! World AIDS Day is held on the 1st December each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day, held for the first time in 1988. Wear your red ribbon!
Old Dominion Girls of Leather Holiday Party & Toy Drive to Benefit the Avalon Center for Women and Children in Williamsburg. Throw on your holiday gear and come see the Old Dominion girls of Leather as we celebrate the holiday season the only way we know how… by giving back to our communities, and having fun doing it!
This month’s charity is Avalon Center for Women and Children in Williamsburg. They serve over 5,000 women and children a year by helping them escape situations of abuse, providing legal aid, shelter, and victim counseling. A portion of our Jell-O shot sales will benefit one of Avalon’s families this Christmas as we fulfill their Christmas wish list. Bring a toy (child ages 1-12)! Bring a friend! Donate for the cause, or Buy some Jell-O shots! Have fun! It’s our last bar night of the year, and we wanna end it with a bang! More information here.

AIDS Walk – Hampton Roads Please join us at AIDS Walk for remembrance, hope, awareness, solidarity. The walk beings at 358 Mowbray Arch and ends at 700 E. Olney Rd – Vivian C. Mason Cultural Arts Center. Shuttle services back to your car will be provided. Individuals are encouraged to bring poster board size signs with positive messaging about HIV awareness.
